Kären Phillips, RN
In addition to weight loss surgery, Dr. Sid Rohrscheib performs a variety of general surgical procedures. Kären is an integral part of our General Surgery program and assists Dr. Sid Rohrscheib at our Champaign clinic.
Kären received her nursing degree from Parkland College in Champaign, IL. She has over 25 years of clinical experience & has been part of the Illinois Bariatric Center team since 2004. Kären thoroughly prepares patients for surgery, attends to their follow up care and assists them in obtaining insurance approval.
Lyndsey Shanks, RN
Lyndsey is the newest member of the Illinois Bariatric Center team. She assists Dr. Rohrscheib at our Clinton location. Like Kären, she assists him with both his weight loss surgery practice as as well as his general surgery patients.
Lyndsey received her nursing degree from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbannis, IL. She has over 10 years clinical experience & has been with the Illinois Bariatric Center team since the summer of 2011. Lyndsey is quickly learning the ropes and will support you throughout your entire journey!
